New data from Pew Research and ZENIT shows Africa now hosts 31% of the global Christian population, surpassing Europe (22%). Sub-Saharan Africa is officially the region with the most Christians worldwide. Growing at 2.64% annually, Africa is projected to host more Christians by 2050 than Asia and Latin America combined.
