REALS Institute and ABBA Sign MOU for Strategic Cooperation

On January 3, 2026, representatives of the REALS Institute and ABBA (Africa Bible Based Academy) held an official meeting and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony at the Pretoria Safari Restaurant. The agreement marks the beginning of a strategic partnership between the two institutions.
The meeting was attended by Director David K. Kim and researcher Soon-Geun Ahn from the REALS Institute. ABBA was represented by Dean Bogun Kim along with several executive members of the institution. Leaders from both organizations engaged in discussions on future collaboration and shared their vision for advancing research and ministry in Africa.
Under the terms of the MOU, the two institutions agreed to cooperate in five key areas:
- Joint research and collaborative projects
- Co-planning and implementation of academic seminars, forums, and educational programs
- Sharing research materials and findings related to missions, spirituality, and social analysis
- Advisory and consulting cooperation
- Other mutually agreed-upon areas of collaboration
Through this partnership, both institutions expressed their hope that research on African mission fields will be further strengthened and that significant progress will be made in the training of pastors and Christian leaders across the continent.
