Pretoria, April 11 — The REALS Research Institute has officially begun its collaborative ministry with ABBA through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant step toward joint research and academic exchange. The partnership aims to foster deeper theological study and practical ministry development through shared seminars and educational initiatives.
The first fruit of this partnership was realized today in Pretoria, where Rev. David K. Kim was invited to deliver a lecture on “The History of the Protestant Spiritual Movement.” The invitation was extended by Rev. Hoemuk Jung, Director of the ABBA Diploma Program.
Approximately 30 diploma students attended the seminar, gaining valuable insights into the historical development of Protestant pneumatology. The lecture provided a comprehensive understanding of the Holy Spirit from a historical perspective, offering students a new lens through which to approach both theology and ministry.
Participants expressed that the session deepened their understanding of the Holy Spirit and broadened their perspective on its role in contemporary ministry. The seminar also served as a meaningful platform for academic engagement and spiritual reflection.
Looking ahead, both ABBA and the REALS Research Institute expressed their hope for a continued and fruitful partnership, anticipating further collaboration that will contribute to theological education and ministry across the region.
