The REALS Institute has partnered with the young adult mission team of Jesus hope Church to expand its Gospel Bootcamp training program to include children and adolescents. As part of this collaboration, a field-based practicum was conducted on January 17, 2026, at the Chungwoon Mission Center in Kraaifontein, Western Cape.

Gospel Bootcamp is one of the key discipleship and evangelism training programs of the REALS Institute. The program presents the message of the gospel through eight structured stages, combining biblical teaching with practical, activity-based learning. Until now, Gospel Bootcamp had been developed and implemented exclusively for adults.

Recognizing the growing need for age-appropriate gospel training, the young adult mission team developed a new set of eight activities specifically designed for children and teenagers. These activities were carefully adapted to the cognitive and spiritual levels of younger participants while maintaining the theological integrity of the original Gospel Bootcamp framework.

The newly developed children’s and youth curriculum was implemented and tested during the on-site practicum, demonstrating its effectiveness in communicating the gospel in an engaging and contextualized manner. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, as Gospel Bootcamp can now be conducted not only for adults but also for children and youth, enabling a more comprehensive and generational approach to gospel ministry.

Leaders involved in the project expressed hope that this expansion will contribute to long-term discipleship and mission work by equipping the next generation with a clear and foundational understanding of the gospel.
